All items are packaged in new materials to ensure they reach you in the condition described at the time of sale. Magazine sized books are bagged and boarded, oversize bags and boards are used to give extra protection against bending and bumping during transit. Box sets and other bulky items are bagged (where possible) and bubble wrapped. Smaller sized items are sent in genuine Jiffy(TM) bags, larger items in secure cardboard boxes. Postage is charged according to the weight of the final package, including all packaging materials. I do not charge for packaging materials or handling fees and make no profit whatsoever from postage and packaging.

Proof of postage is obtained for all items sent. For valuable items, over GBP34, I advise you to always ask for insurance and confirmation of delivery. If you have purchased sufficient insurance I will always provide a refund should the Royal Mail lose your delivery. For un-insured deliveries I will only issue refunds if I am able to recover the cost of the loss from the Royal Mail. Please note, the Royal Mail will not accept claims until 25 days after posting and their claims processing procedures might further delay compensation being issued. I appreciate loss or damage in transit is not the fault of the buyer but neither is it my fault. Once a delivery leaves my hands it is entirely the responsibility of the Royal Mail and/ or any onward postal or courier service to see it reaches its destination. I will always try to assist on the rare occasions when items do get lost or damaged.

I endeavour to give an accurate description of each item I present for sale. However, grading is subjective and my idea of condition may not tally with your own. It is time consuming to list a large number of items so I might miss the odd blemish but this is not intentional. I can see no point in providing misleading descriptions as this invariably leads to dissatisfied customers, negative feedback and potential financial loss if a refund has to be issued. So I try to be as accurate as possible within the constraints detailed above. Where items are incomplete or suffer significant defects you can be sure I will disclose such faults. All used items will have some degree of wear, no matter how minor. I use the following grading scale and provide additional details where necessary:

Grade	Description
FAIR (FR)	Several large and significant flaws. Pages may be detached, a module cover completely split, or the cover loose from a staple-bound book. Large pieces may even be missing from the cover or a page. There may be significant water damage, extensive soiling, extremely heavy creasing, large tears, etc. The item is mostly complete and useable.
GOOD (GD)	Shows heavy wear, but is still solid. A few large flaws plus several smaller flaws may be present. Conversely, Good items may have one or two major flaws: spine splits up to half the length, several large, heavy creases, a small amount of water damage, heavy writing, multiple or large tears, a noticeable odour due to either "mustiness" or "smoke", significant staple rust and staining, etc. There may be several pieces of tape on the item. On staple-bound books, the cover can be separated from the staples, and on perfect-bound books, some pages may be loose from the binding. A Good item should be relatively solid and intact and still retain some basic appeal to a collector.
VERY GOOD (VG)	The "average wear" grade. Spine shows stress and may be slightly frayed or have minor tears. Covers can have "splits" as long as 2 inches. Corners are often rounded, creased, or frayed, and edges may show similar wear. Common flaws are "colour fading", small stains, small tears, and writing on interior pages. Slight warping and/ or faint "musty odour" may also be allowed. Tape may have been used to "repair" the item, but it should be at most one or two small pieces. A Very Good item can simply be an accumulation of several minor and moderate flaws or it may have very few minor flaws and one major detractor such as a fold that goes the entire length of the cover, heavy rust on the staples, a page separated that was not designed to be "detachable", a large spine split, or writing on the outer cover.
FINE (FN)	At first glance, a Fine item may appear to be a higher grade, but on closer inspection flaws can be clearly seen. There may be several smalls creases or even one slightly larger (1 inch) crease. The top/ bottom of the spine may show some abrasion, perhaps even a small 1/8 inch tear. Other flaws may include: several heavier spine stress lines, a "scuff" to the surface that removes some of the colour, rust to the staples (though at least 75% should be rust free), a tiny tear or very small piece missing from a corner, or a few small stains. Though inserts/ maps may be detached and have some minor writing, they should still be intact. Often, Fine items simply have a greater accumulation of lesser flaws.
VERY FINE (VF)	A few light creases may be present at an edge/ corner or on the inner surface of the cover. There should be no folds or hard creases. Corners can have other wear such as slight "rounding" or "abrasion". On staple-bound items, the edge of the spine may have some slight abrasions to the outer surface layer, though the spine itself it still strong and intact. For perfect-bound items, light vertical stress lines are more prominent (though not extensive). Staples may have the slightest hint of rust, but should still be at least 90% rust free with no rust stains on the pages. Maps/ inserts may be detached - there can be a few marks written on the these, but they should still be minor and not extensive (no highlighting or marker). Perhaps two corners may have tiny 1/16 inch creases at the extreme tips or there could be one very light half inch crease.
NEAR MINT (NM)	There may be a few light stress lines on the spine, otherwise the spine is strong and intact. Corners are sharp, but can have a little bit of "bumping" or other very minor wear. In general, no creases should be present, though a slight "bend" that does not create a noticeable stress crease may be allowed. The edges may have a few very tiny "bumps" or "nicks". A few light stress lines are acceptable on the surface, but they should not break the colour. Surface colours should be bright with at most a few "colour flecks" or some very minimal "colour fading" (as usually occurs along the spine). Any spots of discoloration or staining would be extremely minor. The inside booklet should be complete with no marks, no rust on the staples and all inserts/ maps still attached. A few very light marks may be allowed - such as a small price written in pencil on the inside flyleaf. Even though, the above flaws are acceptable in Near Mint condition, an item should not contain any more than a few such defects.
NEW	Brand new, never used, maybe still in shrink wrap, no flaws unless otherwise detailed.
